Objective
The primary objective was to establish a distinct online presence for Mehsoft, serving as both a portfolio for their games and a platform for storytelling and audience engagement. The challenge was to incorporate the indie spirit and retro aesthetics that epitomize their games within the website design.

Research & Concept Development
The design journey began with thorough research into Mehsoft's brand identity and the indie game market, focusing on understanding the expectations of their user base – gamers who appreciate nostalgia in aesthetics and innovation in gameplay. This research informed the site's evocative retro-modern look and feel.
Design Decisions
Color Palette
A combination of dark purple and vibrant orange was selected, reminiscent of iconic arcade cabinets and pixel art, setting the stage for immersive narrative engagement.
Typography
The typography was chosen to balance the indie studio's retro gaming roots with modern readability:
— Pixelar: Inspired by the golden age of arcade games, Pixelar was selected for headers and highlights, evoking nostalgia and reflecting Mehsoft's pixelated game art style.
— Space Mono: Applied to body text for clarity, alongside Pixelar, offering a contemporary feel while preserving the "coded" theme associated with game development.
Together, these fonts create a harmonious duality within the website's textual narrative, capturing Mehsoft's innovative spirit while paying homage to its roots in vintage gaming culture.
Interactive Animations
Custom animations created with GSAP, Anime.js, and Three.js were designed to contextualize the studio's creative output. Each interaction had a narrative purpose connected to the showcased games, enriching the overall storytelling.
User Experience & Interface Design
An intuitive interface was designed to facilitate seamless navigation through Mehsoft's diverse offerings. The information architecture and user flow were meticulously planned to optimize engagement and ensure a smooth user journey.

Mehsoft's audience warmly received the new website, with user analytics showing promising engagement for the brand's digital debut. Visitors are interacting with the content and spending meaningful time on the site, indicating genuine interest in Mehsoft's creative endeavors.
