A free, community-driven recipe platform—no ads, no paywalls, just recipes.
The idea was simple: most recipe sites are cluttered with ads and SEO padding before you get to the actual instructions. OpenStove strips that away. Recipes are contributed by the community through GitHub—fork the repo, add your recipe, open a pull request.
Built with Astro, Tailwind CSS, and Preline UI, hosted on Vercel. The contribution model keeps it open and decentralised—anyone can shape what’s on the platform.
“Stunning! How thought out the contribution process is for people to contribute their own recipes!”
